The Cervelo S5 has piled up Grand Tour stage wins and green jerseys under riders like Wout van Aert, and this latest version raises the bar again: 6.3 watts faster and 124 grams lighter than the outgoing model, with the same planted, confident handling the S5 is known for.
Limited edition MAPS colorway — 1 of 650 worldwide. This isn't catalog paint. The MAPS finish wraps the S5 in a world map design, a nod to the global reach of the fastest bike in racing — and Cervélo is making exactly 60 of them for the entire world. One of them is here in Laramie. Limited editions like this don't get restocked; once it's gone, it's gone.
Most of the speed comes from the front end. The deeper bayonet fork and head tube cut cleanly through the wind, and the redesigned HB19 one-piece carbon cockpit uses Cervélo's "Plus-Four" shape — 4cm narrower at the hoods than the drops — so you naturally hold a more aero position on the hoods while keeping full stability in the drops for sprinting and descending. Every bar size is UCI-legal under the latest regulations.
The Reserve 57|64 Turbulent Aero wheels were co-developed with Cervélo specifically for this frame. The rear wheel's asymmetric profile matches the seat tube so air flows smoothly over both — 3 watts faster than the previous wheelset at the same weight.
This build gets the full SRAM Red AXS E1 wireless group with an integrated power meter, ceramic bottom bracket, and Vittoria Corsa Pro tubeless tires.
